ABOUT THE PROJECT

This 2500 Sq-Ft project is the client’s holiday home situated just a few hundred metres from a stunning Cornwall beach. As a holiday home, we focused on giving the client the most convenient features possible, with smart lighting and automated blinds throughout the property alongside in-ceiling speakers and motion sensors. This not only makes life easier for the clients, but also for guests and cleaners.

The showstopper of this property is the Spiral Wine Cellar, which holds a whopping 1,600 bottles and has door and lighting controls integrated into the Control4 system via keypad or touchscreen. As the client is away from the home for lengths of time, security is paramount, so an extensive CCTV system has been installed alongside an intercom and digital locks that can be controlled by the client from anywhere.

The client also converted their garage into a home gym, which features an in-ceiling TV housed in a Future Automation lift and a full Triad sound system. Despite originally being a holiday home, the client now spends more time here due to its stunning location and the high-quality work from everyone involved.
